Warrior
Prime: Strength
The epitome of combat. Warriors rely on raw strength and mastery of arms — every weapon, every armor. No magic, no mana, but an unmatched force in melee. As they grow in power, the Warrior can ascend to the fearsome Barbarian.

Mage
Prime: Intelligence
Beings of pure magical intellect. Frail in body but devastating in power, mages command an arsenal of combat spells governed by three moons. Neutral, good, or evil — their power grows without limit.

Cleric
Prime: Wisdom
Mighty healers and protectors of the weak. Armed with healing and protective magic, clerics are invaluable companions. Their wisdom deepens with every level, making them the backbone of any adventuring group.

Thief
Prime: Dexterity
Haunters of dark roads and alleys. Masters of backstab, stealth, lockpicking, and pocket-picking. The thief's dexterity lets them strike from the shadows before an enemy can react — and vanish just as quickly.

Ranger
Prime: Dexterity
Children of the wilderness. Rangers are at home in the deep forests, masters of survival, tracking, and archery. They bond with nature and use it as a weapon — patient, precise, and deadly from a distance.

Druid
Prime: Wisdom
Ancient guardians of the natural world. Druids command elemental magic and commune with animals. Their power is subtle but vast — they can heal, harm, and transform in ways that defy conventional magic.
Nature magic

Paladin
Prime: Strength & Wisdom
Holy warriors of virtue. Paladins combine combat prowess with divine grace — powerful in both sword and prayer. Restricted to neutral or good alignment, they are champions of the light in a dark world.

Necromancer
Prime: Intelligence
Masters of death and undeath. Necromancers command the dead, drain life, and summon forces from beyond the veil. They must be neutral or evil — their arts are forbidden by the righteous, feared by all.

Brown Wizard
Prime: Intelligence
The starting tier of the Wizard order. Through trial and mastery, a Brown Wizard ascends to Grey, then to the exalted White Wizard — a path requiring great dedication but offering tremendous power.

Multiclassing
Realm of Shadows features a full multiclassing system. Characters may learn abilities across class lines, with tiered advancement rewarding dedication. Ordained Mortals may be appointed by a Follower Leader Immortal (FLI) only. See the Races & Classes matrix for full availability by race.
