Human
The most populous race. Short lives make them driven — humans can be of any class. Their adaptability is their greatest strength.
Elf
Ancient and graceful, with keen senses and a deep affinity for magic. Their long lives give them perspective few mortals possess.
Dwarf
Stout and resilient masters of craftsmanship and war. Dwarves have limited magic but unmatched toughness and their beards hold their honor.
Giant
Massive and powerful. Giants bring overwhelming physical strength to every battle — limited in subtler arts but devastating in melee.
Drow
Dark elves of the Underdark. Cunning and cruel, with innate magic and a talent for the shadowed arts. Their red eyes see in darkness that blinds lesser races.
Ogre
Brutes of immense physical power. Ogres are restricted to direct combat classes — their raw destruction is unmatched but subtlety is not their way.
Gnome
Clever, inventive, and surprisingly versatile. Gnomes are tinkerers and tricksters with a genuine talent for magic. Never underestimate them.
Half-Elf
Caught between two worlds, Half-Elves carry elven grace and human ambition. One foot in each lineage makes them the most versatile adventurers.
Minotaur
Fearsome horned warriors of immense strength and burning rage. Nearly unstoppable in melee — their charge has broken countless shield walls.
Aarakocra
Avian warriors from the high peaks. Quick, agile, and multi-disciplined. Their raptor eyes miss nothing and their talons are weapons in themselves.
Troll
Regenerating horrors from the deep marshes. Relentless, tough, and surprisingly capable of druidic arts. They heal from wounds that would kill lesser beings.
